Sync Your Schedule Between Devices

Have you been building your personal conference schedule on your computer or tablet browser and want to transfer it to your phone browser for easy access through the conference? Follow these step-by-step instructions to sync your devices:

Syncing Your Favorites Between Devices

Your flagged sessions are saved in the browser you’re using — there’s no account to sign in to. To see the same favorites on another device, you link the two browsers using the Browser ID shown in the “Sync Favorites” box on the My Schedule page.

Steps to Sync Favorites

  1. On the device that already has your favorites (e.g., your laptop):
    • Flag at least one session first. This is important — a browser can’t be synced from until it has saved at least one favorite.
  2. On that same device:
    • Open My Schedule and find the Sync Favorites box.
    • Write down (or copy) the number shown after “This browser ID:”.
  3. On your other device (e.g., your phone):
    • Open My Schedule and find the same Sync Favorites box.
  4. Enter the first device’s ID:
    • Into the empty “Browser ID” field — not the ID shown above it, which is this device’s own ID — and tap Sync.
  5. That’s it.
    • Your favorites will appear, and from now on the two devices stay in sync automatically: Flag or unflag a session on either one and the other will follow.

Troubleshooting

  • If you see “Please check your info and try again”:
    • The most common cause is that the browser whose ID you entered hasn’t flagged any sessions yet. Go back to that device, flag at least one session, then try the sync again.
    • Double-check you entered the other device’s ID, not the one displayed on the current screen.
    • Avoid private/incognito windows — favorites are stored in the browser and are lost when a private window closes.
    • If you use an ad or tracker blocker (or your browser’s strictest privacy mode), it may block the sync service. Allow the schedule site and try again.
